Rural and regional recourse planning is one of the core steps towards a community or nation achieving its national economic growth and development. Often planning of rural resources is poorly done or it is done by a few individuals from the head government offices that have no idea what the rural areas are like, what priorities do the rural area need to be addressed first and what role the local community residents including children feel like about their community planning (Aberdeenshire Local Plan 2006).
This has stagnated community planning and growth despite the fact that the government allocates a lot of funding and resources towards rural planning and development. This study shall be focused on Abardeenshire community. For better rural planning and consequent implementation of the plans into realty, the public agencies must first change their performance techniques (Aberdeenshire Local Plan 2006).
. They must include children and youth in the planning schedule or have then represented inn rural planning committee so that their special needs are addressed as well. More so youth and children in rural Abardeenshire represent a big proportion of national human labor.
Introduction
Rural planners in Abardeenshire have for many years not include children and young people in participating in formulating community planning techniques and implementation. Research released by a group at a children conference at Abardeenshire showed that young people and children are really included in community planning and future growth. The 21st century therefore needs better approaches to planning and delivering of services for young people and children in rural Abardeenshire to ensure that all people’s needs are addressed and emphasized for growth (Aberdeenshire Local Plan 2006).

The challenges of affordable housing, transportation, education and food could be solved and allow rural development if all the people including youth are included in policy formulation for rural planning and growth.By public agencies in Abardeenshire improving their performance the rhetoric of the community planning will be converted into reality (Aberdeenshire Local Plan 2006).
Problem of statement
Aberdeen shire community is one of those communities which have lagged behind in rural planning and development even though the local government of Scotland act 2003 provided guidelines for rural/community planning (Aberdeenshire Local Plan 2006).
This trend of lagging behind in rural planning has inspired me to take a research study into the impact of incorporating children as members of the society in rural and regional planning in Abardeenshire

Methodology
This research study shall employ both primary and secondary research techniques to collect data for analysis and compilation. Primary research shall involve the use of questionnaire and interviews to collect non existent information about this topic of study because it is more accurate and reliable method of data collection even though it is slow and time consuming. On the other hand secondary research shall involve collecting and complying existing information on this topic using books, journals, magazines and government of scot land annual resource allocation to planning newsletter. The information from secondary data will mostly be used to develop literature review.
Limitations
This study will be carried out on a small sample of individuals hence it will require generalization of the results.
This study will be limited by Lack of enough time to collect, sample and analyze relevant data about the topic of discussion. This will affect the reliability and accuracy of research results.
Research Validity and Reliability
This research is vey phenomenological in nature and all research questions are related to the core characteristics of the research fact as discussed. The data collection process and its subsequent analysis shall thus be accurate so as to ensure that highest degree of validity is realized. However, it is important to note that several aspects of research validity which influence reliability of research findings shall also be used as they shall be found appropriate.
